The Original Northern Island was born as a solo folk project by Antonio Pérez. In his five albums that endorse his career, a nostalgic and therapeutic folk is handcrafted that helped him overcome a difficult stage in his life.
Since his first albums “Tumbleweed” and “The Black Fall”, Antonio has done nothing but write music and sing what is within him; something that he not only shows on his albums but also on his live shows.
The Original Northern Island sounds like folk with American overtones, without forgetting his European roots, and his music is the result of experiences after a nomadic and improvised life.
