Our story
In February 1988 Isabel Turrientes, after having worked at the multinational RCA, she was filled with courage and decided to found her own music publishing company.
As a result of that strength, courage and passion, Alondra Music was born, being Depeche Mode one of the first international bands to sub-publish in Spain and Portugal among many others.
Isabel passed away in 1997 and her life partner, Jesús Varas, took the lead, achieving with much work and effort to maintain the company’s status as of the main independent music publishers in Spain.
Patricia Varas, daughter of both, growing up throughout her life in this environment and being passionate about music, decided to take part of the company in 2013. Since then, she is the director of Alondra Music and works day by day with her team to maintain the reputation of the company and make sure the music never stops.
